We teamed up with Alexotos to create the Alexotos Edition Envoy and Switches
The Envoy: A unique combination of a stone colored case with a vibrant orange accent limited to 250 units. Pre-configured with a hotswap pcb, FR4 plate, and grey feet.
The Switches: Based on the Obscura linear and fine-tuned to Alex's preferred spring weight of 58g, factory lubed with Krytox 205g0.
About Alexotos
Since 2018, Alex (better known as Alexotos), has been a prominent figure in the custom mechanical keyboard hobby. He's not just a veteran keyboard builder and creator, but also a trusted voice in the keyboard world with a goal to create a welcoming and friendly community in this space.
Inspiration
In the world of design, where ideas can be as elusive as shadows, it's often the most unexpected inspirations that birth the most delightful concepts. This truth unveiled itself to the creator known as Alexotos during a seemingly ordinary but ultimately fateful afternoon. While the sun bathed his studio in a soft, warm glow, he casually placed an orange bag alongside a stone-colored planter. At that moment, something extraordinary happened.
The way the two colors met and danced in harmony struck him with an undeniable force. The vibrant orange and the subdued stone didn't just sit next to each other; they sang, they conversed, they complimented each other in a way that felt both surprising and destined. It was an encounter that seemed to say, "Here is something fresh, something alive."
Since that serendipitous discovery, Alexotos has embraced this colorway, weaving it into the very fabric of his work. It has become more than a theme; it's a recurring echo of that one beautiful afternoon when inspiration found him in the most unexpected of ways.
